This library brings together both research and training resources on FGM, including comprehensive country profiles, from 28 Too Many and other agencies. The prime purpose of the country profiles is to improve understanding of the issues relating to FGM within the wider frameworks of gender equality and social change. Where country profiles are not yet available, supplementary data from other organisations is provided. These, and the other resources in this section, provide a sound information-base that can be used to shape policies and practice in order to shift attitudes and behaviours and bring about a world free of FGM.
